The Quarantine Archive Series

The quarantine archive series | Building a Home, Portugal 2016/2017

I began working with my father on this project late in 2016 not long after graduating from college. My family had this piece of land, an old abandoned ruin sitting on top of a small hill, and we always dreamed on living there. I documented the process of rebuilding this house for future reference, because we had no previous experience on construction and some things would inevitably go wrong. Looking back at it I realize how much of this was centered on the figure of my father and the struggle to go through the process. My parents are both currently living on this house.
